Mae is from Mississauga, Ontario and is currently in her final year at McGill University pursuing an Honours Chemistry Degree. Prior to working with the Li lab, she worked in the Preston Lab investigating how light interacts with model prebiotic seawater and the McKeague lab trying to understand ionic and dye effects in a dopamine aptasensor. Now Mae is working with hydrazone chemistry. In her free time, Mae enjoys baking, crocheting, reading, and jogging.
