Originally from Ukraine, Oleksandra earned her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where she completed her thesis in fluorine chemistry. She has several years of experience in organic synthesis at Enamine Ltd., and in 2024 completed a research internship in photochemistry in Dr. Thierry Ollevier’s group at Université Laval in Canada. She joined the Li group in 2026 to pursue her Ph.D., focusing on hydrazone chemistry. Outside the lab, she enjoys building LEGO and exploring Montreal coffee shops.
